Bio

Laurence Cohen is an architect in Denver with 25 years of experience in designing both commercial and residential projects. Laurence is graduate of the Yale University School of Architecture and has lived and worked in Denver, New York City, and Hong Kong. Prior to moving to Colorado, Larry was a senior project architect at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates in New York City, and at Liang Peddle Thorp Architects in Hong Kong. He has been fortunate to be able to work on a wide variety of complex and interesting project types, including healthcare, high-rise, and transportation projects in New York City, Hong Kong, and mainland China.

His current practice focuses on residential design, where he is interested in creating homes and gardens that are a product of the marriage between time-honored traditional craftsmanship and new building technologies. In his practice, Larry strives to work in partnership with clients and craftsmen to create places that celebrate the way families live today.
